She inspires him to be the best version of himself. Love.
He also knows a little about farming.
It’s almost heavenly. It reminds me of you.
SOB.
dream the dream of 150,000 years (or so) later
oh look, Ron Moore’s beard!
pretty hair!
It makes me sad to think that Hera died young (the “young woman” being Mitochondrial Eve, etc)
Play us out Jimmy and the bots!
How I love this series. Thanks for keeping the rewatch going, gwensdad!
Coming to Earth probably did reduce human lifespan a lot.
Wish we had more people but…now what do I do with my life?!
oh hey-Hemlock Grove trailer.
Hm it’s been awhile since we’ve done a Firefly re-watch. Maybe.
That’s all for later. Go INTO DARKNESS and report back on the awesome. It may not be until Friday until we can watch.
Evidently the same things still stand out to me
(Nostalgia reading through the broadcast frak party for the series finale)
Yeah I couldn’t convince my partner to go get in line earlier so we aren’t leaving home until 10… and he wouldn’t be seen with me if I dressed up. So I’m just restricted to a geeky t-shirt… but I’m excited! I may be getting too old for midnight showings but I’m still excited!!!
It’s midnight here so…actually I should go to bed.
I’m sad I missed this…but then again I always cry like a baby in this episode and probably wouldn’t have had much to add…
my two favorite moments in this series are here:
“Wait…you hear them too??” I literally jumped off my couch and yelled YES at this
and Baltar’s God/Gods/Fate/Religion speech…as much as I feel and relate to Gauis’ plight in the whole series (for better or worse I see a LOT of myself in him…)…this speech totally NAILS how I feel about religion and fate and felt it all along…it just took…fate…finding me this show and this guy I totally relate to in saying it…
the good news…I hooked one of my friends on it and after the mini-series (her line on the Boomer reveal… “Crap…I LIKED HER”…I knew she was hooked)…and now we’re 4 episodes in…she won’t even come to my hockey games now (which does suck)…cause she wants to spend more time here watching BSG…so I created an addict at least…and it’s the first time I’m not sitting in my living room watching alone, so in a few months I’ll be right back to Daybreak…crying like a baby…again
