Boomer-The new Tory *SPOILERS*

There really isnt that much that disturbs me. I have seen quite a bit of terrible things happen on TV, but nothing has come close to what Boomer did to Helo/Athena. I think 8 is smoking hot, but that scene made me want to vomit. I still feel sick after watching the episode.
Anyways, this brings me to the conclusion that Boomer is the new Tory. There is a new super-bitch in town. Tory isnt even close to as evil as Boomer. Boomer is like really frakking big E evil. Like E Evil
Baltar is about a e tory a E, but noone can trump Boomer.

The Chief got played. I mean he got really played hard core. He helped her carry the child to the Raptor, imagine how he must feel. Ouch

My thought too but don’t discredit Tory doucheness.

Tory

  • Didn’t frak Callie’s man
  • Killed Callie

Boomer

  • Frakked Helo
  • Didn’t kill Athena (she could have done it easily, even doing so she could have made her escape without any opposition since Athena wouldn’t have come to the briefing room.)
  • Stole Hera (yeah she gets extra points for that)

Oh man I would feel so bad in his shoes right now. Especially while watching Athena rip a new one to a innocent deck attendant who didn’t see any little girl. I hope he comes clean even if he get savagely beaten by Athena.

But on the other side its the kind of thing that could get him airlocked. He assaulted (I don’t think he killed her) an 8, helped a prisoner escaped and that is not talking about the kidnapping of Hera if he can be held responsible too (witch he is).

Hell is paved with good intention and Chief just paved a whole new street.

Well, if Chief didn’t have enough demons now he is an accessory to a kidnapping. I don’t think any one will need to airlock him he might just do it himself. Wow talk about one mind frak after another. His mind must be turning knots.

Hell is paved with good intention and Chief just paved a whole new street.[/QUOTE]

A whole new street? He just built a mall

Well if he ever does I just hope he learns that Tori killed his wife and take her with him.

The other options are

  • Going after Boomer with everything he’s got and not stopping until killed or with Hera.

  • Going completely nuts and hiding in the depths of the ship (a la phantom of the opera) and playing along the watchtowers on a crazy organ.

Boomer stuffed a child in a frakkin box with no air holes.
Thats seriously screwy.

I wouldn’t usually quote this but…

You screwed me… they all said you’d screw me.

or maybe

curses your sudden but inevitable betrayal

that being said i’m proud of boomer; our girl did good tonight. totally screwed with everyone. I just wish as she jumped away withmy way by the sex pistols playing instead of score.

I take a bow to my namesake

I bet that in the end Boomer will do some totally dangerous and heroic maneuver to save the day (mortally injuring herself) and we’ll see Chief and her together in her last moments projecting themselves into their dream home making the best of their last moments together. Also, by establishing how happy they could have been together we will appreciate the sacrifice that she will have made even more. A real tear jerking moment. :frowning:

Well said. The Chief is screwed.

Hear, hear!!

Yes, and now I remember that at one point on the basestar, Boomer was ready to kill Hera when she was an infant. Oh, Boomer, I’m so sad for you.

Yes, indeed. Another betrayal in “This Land.”

Boomer is indeed Evil. EVIL!! Holy Crap, I couldn’t believe it. I don’t think I even feel this strongly about Cavil.

And yes, the Chief is screwed. I wrote this elsewhere, but I want to point out again the list of women the Chief’s been with:- Cally, who killed Boomer and let him raise a child that’s not his, Tory, who killed Cally, and Boomer, who never fails to betray, and has kidnapped a child and frakked Helo.

I’d say that’ll mess up whatever relationships the Chief plans to have in the future.

Maybe he should hook up with Tory again…

I really don’t think our beloved Chief has much of a future. I think he will die soon. I am very sad indeed.

I guess Cally doesn’t smell so bad to him now.

Maybe he’ll reconsider what his relationship with her was worth.

Maybe y’all can help since I haven’t rewatched the episode. But I thought Boomer’s raptor crashed into Galactica during its jump.

But now I’m thinking the jump was so close to the hull that this is what caused the explosion. Is that the general consensus? She completed the jump?

Correct. Back to Cavil with Hera.

The raptor clipped the Galatica before the jump. When that happened she lost control for a moment. Then she got it back and made the jump.

As much as i’d like her to redeem herself I think she’s a hopeless cause.

BTW when the repeat was on at midnight we were in talk shoe. Had the sound down and did a play by play of the reactions Chief was having when he found out he helped Bommer take Hera. Thing was it was real easy cause of Aaron Douglas did a great job in that final moments.

And I was thinking that he’s not so great with kids either, he’s “lost” 3 of them: 1 - Nick, who was his (he thought) and then -surprise!- not his. 2 - That imaginary kid in the projection. 3 - Hera, somebody else’s kid!

And yeah he was totally played - my exact words while watching him tear through the now empty imaginary house.

I think Boomer is way more frakked up that Tory. Tory is just a selfish bitca. Boomer has emotional problems I think that stem from being a sleeper agent and then having everyone she loved and cared about betray her. Not that Boomer has any excuse for what she did.

I have to say though - it’s possible that if they hadn’t put Boomer in the brig and threatened to kill her - she might have chosen a different path. If they have given her a second chance like they have everyone else maybe she would have chosen to be with Chief instead of taking Hera and going back to Cavil.

Just a thought.
