Well, the main character is filled with teen angst. Feeling alone and misunderstood is a given.
This movie has a very different vibe, since kids are directly involved.
Adds a whole new level of creepy.
Can’t imagine being a kid, growing up on a military base. They really are like a whole different world, all on their own.

Forest Whitaker always has so many weird tics and twitches. It’s hard to tell if his character is nervous or just naturally squirrely.
I figured this version was gonna be more violent since it was made in the 90s but now that it’s on a military base, I’m betting there are gonna be a bunch of 'splosions!!
He makes you uncomfortable.
I recently saw him in ‘The Shield’. He was investigating the whole police precinct. It was unnerving.
Such an unsettling moment. :eek:
