Blade Runner 9/24 @ 10 PM ET

He did. He was eating noodles in the car.

There are at least five. Probably twice that many if you count small edits.

I don’t have a problem with any of them. They all have different impressions.

I know, but people fell in love with the theatrical version. It’s like Lucas, constantly tweaking the movies. The different versions of Blade Runner, OTOH, actually have completely different endings and alter the very nature of the movies.

I love this scene in Tyrell’s office.

I mean the view. I want an office like that.

Is that a gau’ould ship in the backgroud?

The sun got bigger as the room got darker…

Sure looks like it.

Is that what they call it now?

Her eyes look creepy in this scene.

“Well, is she a replicant?”

“She sure as Hell isn’t an actress…”

“Is this testing whether I’m a replicant or a lesbian, Mr. Deckard?”

So, overall. What is the appeal for this film? Why is so well received?

I like that analysis.

If this guy is so dammned rich… Why doesn’t he get new eyes, instead of wearing those coke-bottle lens???

“How can it not know what it is?”

Now there’s a philosophical question to keep one awake at night.

I always liked EJO’s outfit in this. He is mad pimpin’

Ahead of its time? Takes the audience seriously? Has Harrison Ford?

Big Trouble in Little China dude!

It’s visually stunning. The story is engaging. There are elements, like the one we just saw of the kids riding their bikes in the street that add a certain surreal aspect to the film. Another aspect is when EJO creates little art works.

Probably one of the more realistic dystopian futures, if somewhat optimistic with the time table. The film noir style certainly made it stand out. And Rutger Hauer is just so damn cool. :stuck_out_tongue:

AKA James Hong. :stuck_out_tongue:

“If you could see what I’ve seen with your eyes.”

“If only you could see what I’ve seen with your eyes.”

Amazing. Touching. A machine with a soul. He says that like a poet with so much emotion and regret.
