Yes, I’m creating yet another MMO thread. I feel kind of guilty because I made a thread for Rift, then was underwhelmed when I actually tried the game. I think a sci fi or modern day setting is best for me at this time.

Anyway, Black Prophecy is a free-to-play sci fi MMO which launched for EU yesterday with NA servers becoming available “soon”. I’m tempted to try the game on the EU servers, but I’ll wait until it’s available for NA. Maybe I’ll try the NA beta.

I’m playing Star Trek Online atm, but I’ve leveled capped my character and I don’t want to roll another or play Klingon. It was fun for three weeks though! Admittedly, I miss EVE also.

Anyway, EU players (and NA who don’t mind playing on an EU server) can now give the game a try for free.

I’m downloading the client atm, I’m gonna give it a try. From the gameplay videos and such I doubt I’ll fall into it very far, and I can’t see it replacing Eve. It looks like some fun play for a while though.

I just started downloading the EU client.

I’m not sure how to get into the NA beta yet.

Finally downloaded and installed and patched .Net 4.0.

I tried logging in after installation, but I get logging failed. I guess I have to wait for the NA beta servers.
