Bill and Ted

A Bill and Ted rewatch would be fun.

Yes indeed, what a fun movie.

With all the fun we had with BTTF, I’m surprised these two films have never come up – granted, it contains 133% more cheese, and the sort of stereotypical Keanu that nearly demolished his career at the outset, but come on – hockey with Ghenghis Khan, and playing Twister versus the Grim Reaper for one’s immortal soul? That’s fine American cinematography right there, I tell ya.

I loved the first movie! The second was OK, but the inspired lunacy of the first was just so awesome. And George Carlin! Was he ever involved in anything that wasn’t great? Strange things are indeed afoot at the Circle K.

These should have come up earlier. The first is a classic, and the second isn’t too bad.

I am the only one among my current friends who understood “Something us afoot at the Circle K” I was devastated that no one got it when I said it. Indeed I took the fact that there’s a Circle K on the corner coming to my new apartment as a good sign. I didn’t even know we had them in Michigan!

I absolutely adore B&T, I would love a rewatch.

The only time I’ve ever seen a Circle K is when my sister was living in Tucson. Ever time we passed one, I felt compelled to say the line. My family, as usual, just ignored me.

For extra credit: watch the second Bill & Ted, then watch the Bergman movie “The Seventh Seal” (1957) and try NOT to MST3K it (“but if the knight would just play twister with death!..”)

Keanu was the Seann William Scott of the late 80’s to early 90’s~!

Whoa~!

Dude!

Sweet~!

Schwing!

Maybe it doesn’t have to be a Bill and Ted arc. Perhaps 80s scifi or slacker scifi?

was there a wink at Dr Who with the whole Rufus and the telephone booth thang?:confused:

Is it bad I’ve only seen Bogus journey? I don’t see why people don’t’ like that movie, I think its awesome lol

The bits with Death crack me up.

“Do not overlook my butt. I work out daily and exercise.”

"I drink your Milkshake!

These movies were great! I saw both in theater! and picked these up a few yrs ago in a bargain bin for both for 10 bucks! Yes they are cheesy but thats what makes them great! I even have the soundtrack hahaha and as Death said! “The Melvinen Me!”

I don’t know what made me think of this but I am bumping this because I think the crüe doing this would be a HOOT!

I watched Excellent Adventure the other day, and I never realized before how many montages it has. (bumping this thread because I really want the crue to discuss it)
