I didn’t notice the first time i watched the movie but while watching with the commentary i noticed that Kurt Russel really is the sidekick in this movie.

Yep, definitely the genius of this flick. Wang is the real action hero. Jack’s just along for the ride.

The only other movie I can recall seeing this actor was John Carpenter’s Prince of Darkness. Now there’s a mind-frak of a movie. Definitely need to add that to the list.
