BBC Life on Mars sequel Ashes to Ashes starts/ed this week

If you missed it in the BBC Life on Mars thread, BBC American started running the sequel series to Life on Mars Saturday. It seems aw’ight so far.

The previous week’s episode airs 8 p.m. EST on BBCA, followed by the new episode. So it’s not too late to catch up.

This series, a woman cop from 2008 winds up back in 1981, with the most of the cast from Life on the Mars. Except Whathisface The Main Guy (Sam Tyler?), who… well, tune in and see for yourself.

And here’s the David Bowie “Ashes to Ashes” video, which will (partially) explain why there’s a creepy-arse white clown dashing about through the show (embedding disabled):

Its saved in my DVR. Im looking forward to it. I really liked Life on Mars (the brit version)

Was last week’s episode the finale, the one that ended in the hospital? That seemed kind of abrupt, if it was.

EDIT: Ne’er mind. That was the end of season 2. And the one everyone had been talking about was season 3, which recently wrapped in Britain. I get it now.
