Battlestar Galactica

So, if I’ve timed this right, if we started next week rewatching Season 4 (and Razor) we’d be through the 10 episodes right as the new season starts.

You’re very optimistic…

I’m sorry, I’m not following you. What is Battlestar Galactica?

I’m not even playing. I was gonna post that. Paraphrased of course.

We are NOT the same!!

but you can be one…

OK, that’s gotta be a selection, just for the junk report™.

I’m the one on the left.

I’m the 1/2 black one. You’re the 1/2 white one.

From where I’m sitting, the one on the right is more likely to win a certain contest of male fixation. He could probably give Nog-in-uniform some stiff competition.

Yeah, but the one on the left is The Riddler.

That’s why I’m the one on the left. I’m black on the right and white on the left and long in the…tooth.

Actually Thot is older.

Well that went off the intended road quickly.

Seriously though, is this group no longer interested in BSG?

I don’t think it’s that. At least not for me. I think most of us are in the spirit of the 'cast, enjoying the tangent arcs and exploring more geeky goodness. I never had a large group of friends, let alone geek friends. So this forum gives the opportunity to talk about all the stuff we would generally have to enjoy alone. It’s been amazing hearing other people’s experiences with Star Wars, The Matrix, et al.

I don’t know. Just me opinion.

'Talos is right, I think.

I’ve been rewatching BSG on and off since June… but it’s been great to have people to talk to about all the other great stuff out there, too. I never realized how solitary (i.e., me watching or reading by myself) my experience of sf/f had been before, with only a few exceptions (my MIL absolutely adores Back to the Future, for example)

Exactly what I was going to say, almost verbatim, in fact.

 GET OUT OF MY MIND!!!

You know, I saw this thread titled “Battlestar Galactica”, and I thought… “odd, that’s a very suspiciously generic name.”

It was like going to a grocery store and finding a jar marked “food”.

But I enjoy FOOD so much.

I know, I totally would have skipped over this thread, if I weren’t so in love with “FOOD”.

There is a joke with the guys I work with in the navy. Everyone gets married and devoiced many times. Well the guys always say that I’ll never get devoiced since my wife cooks to good for me to ever leave. She is a great cook; we invite the guys that not have a place of their own over from time to time. No reason to stay in a barrack for Thank-giving right.

P.S. 4 Chuck- I know no Admiral daughters that know how to shoot. I do know a Captains Daughter, my wife… one of our first dates I showed her how to handle a 45cal.
