Batman

If so, and it is in mint condition (with the original box, of course), ebay may make you a very wealthy man. (Although I understand that the model that says “Commissioner Gordon calling Batman” with Batman (as played by Adam West) responding “I’m on may way” is more highly coveted.

Assuming I did not throw it away, it is far from mint condition and the original box is deep deep deep underground in the landfill of the town dump where I disposed of it 10 or more years ago.
And I’m not sure if it was Adam West’s voice on mine or not. I doubt it.

you’re missing out, broseph. do yourself a favor and check out the Batman movie starring Mr. Adam West. don’t think of that Batman as the same character, because he really isn’t. the movie is, however, very funny, and therefore totally worth your time. if you haven’t laughed out loud by the scene with the bomb on the pier, I will wire you money to buy you a beer.

In that case - don’t quit your day job.

And the unforgettable threat of iron spikes – THAT ARE PAINTED RUBBER!!! – somehow not only justifies the movie’s existence for me, but puts in in a league above the Burton/Schumacher flicks.

Plus, Catwoman will give you Cat Scratch Fever.

Yeah, I have great affection for the Adam West Batman TV show (and movies). I watched it as a kid. And it’s interesting watching it later as an adult. As a kid, you take it litterally and kinda believe in it the way a kid does (and since I hadn’t seen or read any other Batman at the time, Adam West was Batman to me.) But then when you watch the show latter as an adult you really appreciate the humor and campiness—stuff you don’t notice as a kid. I love the way the tilted the camera whenever only the villians were on screen.
Oh, and the Catwoman suit?—Oh, yeah–sexy indeed

Okay, so this is the big day. Only three more hours to go. I’m gonna eat, shower, get dressed now and then I’ll be off to see TDK.

SWEET! You’re going to love it!

Enjoy!!!

Don’t forget to write.

Beave, please keep your priorities straight. We’re talking about The Dark Knight here. Don’t waste time with the showering, eating and dressing. Just get thee to the theater!!

He didn’t brush his teeth. Gasp!

Too late now! The movie’s already started. :stuck_out_tongue:

Don’t panic. I’m sure he brought his Bat-toothbrush and Bat-toothpaste with him.

But what about his Bat Dental Floss???

I wonder if he’s having Bat-butter on his Bat-popcorn…

And drinking his Bat-soda.

Let’s see how long we can keep the joke running…

Do you think he will get some Bat-Milk Duds?

Well, if he’s going with the Bat-popcorn, he’s really going to wish he had brought his Bat-dental floss.

The German factor leaves that one up in the air, until he gets back and responds. However, he did seem pretty excited about buying that Bat - ice cream from the lady who will be selling it - in theater itself - before the movie starts.

All of which begs the REAL question - given the non-stop, head long rush nature of TDK - when will he find time to run to the Bat - bathroom to dispense with some of the Bat - soda he drank?
