“Have you ever danced with the devil in the pale moonlight?”

I love the opening score.

I love this first appearance. He really builds up the “supernatural menace” aspect here, so much so it really doesn’t seem to be a guy in a cowl at first…

OMGs, I’d forgotten about Harvey Dent.

Don’t trust him, Han!

“Decent people shouldn’t live here. They’d be happier somewhere else.”

Jack Palance! I really forget about him too!

Truly a master of voice and presence.

“You… are my number one guy!”

Rewinding videotape! That brings me back. :stuck_out_tongue:

That was an odd moment. Batman just stood there while Napier shot a cop.

Sure, a dirty cop, but didn’t he usually tend to prevent killings?

I liked this Alfred. Actually, I’ve really loved all the Alfreds. There’s that avuncular charm about them that’s so comforting…

“Jack? Jack is dead. You can call me Joker. And as you can see, I’m a lot happier.”

That Joy Buzzer must be nuclear.

I love this scene with the news. So deliciously disturbing. :stuck_out_tongue:

“…Gotham’s shopping nightmare.”

bwhahahahahaha!

“You must be joking.”
“Do I look like I’m joking?”
“Well…”

“Never rub another man’s rhubarb!”

“Tell me kid, you ever dance with the devil by the pale moonlight.”

Great casting with the young Jack Napier.

Gotta say, I agree with Sean. This was the best Batmobile. Almost looks like it was designed by H.R. Giger.

“And now… comes the part where I relieve you, the little people, of the burden of your failed and useless lives, but, as my plastic surgeon always said, if you’ve gotta go, go with a smile!”

“Bob? Gun.”

Joker has the henchiest of henchman. Not much of a retirement plan.

I’d forgotten that this Batman doesn’t really have many issues with killing.

I mean, I guess it’s possible that the guy who just plummeted down the belltower landed in a vat of Jell-O, but I doubt it.
