Imagine seeing it without seeing any of the rest of the show. (that was my experience) I was like, “Whut the frak was that all about?”
I thot every episode was like that.
The whole appearing out of nowhere, flanked by “angels”, no wonder they just accepted him as a gift from the universe.

It’s still amazing to me that I can still catch things I’ve missed before, particularly during these rewatches. For instance, Kosh greets him as “Entil-Zha Valen” in the pilot! They give away the big secret right at the very beginning, but it means nothing out of context. Just frakkin’ brilliant.

Most of them are. Some are just more obvious than others.
