Is there anyone here that is watching B5 for the first time? I’m noticing too much winking from the B5 Vets, and I forgot who are the noobs here.
Me too. BSG, of course, did it very well. To the point that one SG-1 preferring friend dismissing it as West-Wing in Space. To each his own.
I’ve seen it before myself, so I try and use the spoiler tags where appropriate.
I agree, I just didn’t place it with BSG because the other shows were on at the same time, while BSG is a generation after.
Well, it’s night night time. Next week, one of the most important episodes of Season 1, “Signs and Portents”, and a mostly forgetable episode “TKO” but the B story of the Rabbi and Ivanova makes the episode.
Well, I’m off to bed. Night!
Speaking of which, that one will be spoiler tag city.
I started out watching for the first time… and got hooked. I’m currently halfway through season 4 (I’d be done if I didn’t have to wait for Netflix to ship me discs, but I should be set in a few weeks).
Just out of curiosity, as one who has angered the internet gods many a time, how do we appease them? I appeased the gaming gods by burning my old copy of “Oregon Trail”—take that “you died of dysentery!”—but I am not sure I am prepared to burn my computer in a bonfire. Seems counter-intuitive.
You must take a blade of grass from Pike’s lawn and then burn it on youtube, while posting the whole event on twitter.
Nah. I just made that up.
You obviously haven’t seen the last person that wouldn’t get off Pike’s lawn:
Thanks, but no thanks. The internet gods can stay angry.
People keep misunderstanding me. “Get off my lawn” is for your own safety, not my peace of mind. It’s a quite vicious lawn. And it doesn’t like being trodden upon any more than you would.
Indeed. It’s only like the eleventh frackin commandment: Thou Shall Not Trespass upon Pike’s Lawn. Check the bible. I am relatively certain you will find it in there.
