Babylon 5 1x12 By Any Means Necessary

As always, she always seems to enjoy herself, but she’s usually dealing with idiots or fools.

Shhhh Don’t tell anyone. She’s my favorite character.

del viento definitely threw the first punch. a bit overdone

That was a secret?

hehe I like Sinclair’s solution

Shhhh Don’t tell anyone. Londo’s my favorite character.

He’s just a “citizen” by that point, of course.

<trivia> The word “pagan” comes from the Latin “paganus”, which is basically just a civilian. The religious connotation comes from the early Roman Catholic church calling Christians “milites” (think “Onward Christian Soldiers”). If Christians were “soldiers”, then non-Christians were “civilians”. More or less, it’s just a term meaning “not one of us”, religiously speaking. </trivia>

Awww, Daddy Sinclair makes everything better.

What’s nice is that is is a happy ending, but it isn’t a Deus Ex Machina solution that Next Gen usually did.

It may have been the original root definition, but it does seem to have developed the implication that the “Others” were not following a true path.

I quite like G’Kar’s comment about Sinclair’s spirituality  prescient.

AKA, everyone else on the station.

Han punched first!

I’d have to say Kosh, but I doubt I could really choose among all the great characters…

Speaking of Next Gen, like the political intrigue of B5 that was lacking in TNG.

I can’t remember, is this one of the scenes that is called back later? (You know what I’m talking about. )

Shhhh Don’t tell anyone. G’Kar’s my favorite character.

making my point yet. well you did.

I like seeing some of the Narn ceremony, that was missing from the ‘religious sampling’ episode a few back.

That’s one of the reason’s I really like DS9 and B5 much more then TNG.

With organized religion, “not one of us” usually means that.

They attempted it in later seasons, but it never really fit in well…

Not sure, but I could definitely see how it would be.

Expedient hive mind.

Forgive me, but I can’t remember: Are you watching this for the first time with us? Religion is very important in the series, with lots of rituals of various sorts.

So yoiu want to be invited to any religious cerimony that uses psychadelic substances?
