All I can say is, if you ever want to recreate an atmosphere similar to, if not exceeding, that of the cantina scene on Tatooine, you have to come to A.C. There is every kind of freak, geek, weirdo, twerp, hophead, spacer, speeder, looney, one-eyed-one-horned purple people-eater that ever schlepped the planet lurking around A.C. In addition, there are numerous places for a gathering that include any amenity that would be necessary. Drinks aplenty, wide-screen HD TV’s everywhere, gambling legal, food without end and the unlimited bounty of living entertainment that makes this place so special. GWC by the Sea, think about it…

Name Change
I have been known here in the past as “jjbauer5618” but I am changing that as of now. I will no longer be using that profile and am now going to use “Joey Pizza”. I tried to just change the name but that isnt possible so I am creating an entirely new profile. I will be subscribing to most of the threads that I currently belong to so I hope this doent cause any problems for anyone I have been in contact with.
Its been awhile since this has been discussed so I thought I would light a fire under it. I was in AC Thursday and Friday and it got me to thinking about it. I left a few bucks in the Casinos and the “Gentlemans Clubs” and would love an excuse to go back again assuming my schedule and budget allow.
“The Walk” outlet stores are great as well. I went to the Big Dog store among others and had a tasty 22 oz porterhouse at the Longhorn Steakhouse.

We’re headed to AC on 5/31 and we’d be cool with a meet-up. We’re going up and a bus chartered by a friend for her grad school graduation…she’s taking us all for free! We’ll have most of the day to do whatever we like. How cool is that? My BSG-lovin’ husband will be there too, but he’s not a member of the forums.

Not SciFi, or BSG, but interesting (at least to me) “Bodies the Exhibition” is coming to the Trump Taj Mahal on May 24 till August 22.
