Athena vs #6

I find it interesting that in a past episode Athena shot a #6 for just catching Hera running down a corridor, thinking the #6 was going to take Hera from Athena. But then in Oath, another #6 is comforting Hera while Athena is tending to Helo’s head wound. There is no problem at that time for the #6 to be tending to Hera’s needs.

My guess are the visions they share in the Opera house. Athena, Roslin, Caprica Six, and Hera have all shared the visions. It’s still unclear if Baltar has also shared them or if the Baltar in the visions is Head Baltar.

Actually, the 6 in her dream was Caprica Six. The one she shot was Natalie. Did Athena know that, though? And also, I think that since Caprica is having a baby of her own (and is involved with Tigh), Athena is less worried about her wanting Hera. Not to mention that she’s kind of worried about her non-downloading husband being permanently damaged. Only so many things a mother can worry about.

Caprica 6 was the 6 that helped Athena rescue Hera from the Basestar. When Athena killed Natalie she was for some reason worried that Natalie would take Hera back to the Cylon[z].

She also seemed a bit distracted while trying to keep Helo’s brains from leaking from his skull…

I have nothing to base this on, other than my brain running away from me. But, I think this brig scenario is the beginning of our story to resolve the opera house visions.

Too late.

Hey-hoooooooo!

Athena should have made the connection, seeing as how Laura dragged her down to the brig to visit Caprica 6 and they all realized their “Omgs, we shared a vision of the same thing simultaneously!” moment.

That was something that got my attention too.

Though I wonder if that’s Caprica or Head Six or both? Certainly in the earlier (pre Roslin Athena Hera involvement) visions it was Baltar and Head Six with the luminous crib.

To be honest, I think that Athena wasn’t in her right mind when she shot Natalie. And why would that be? The opera house visions.
