Don’t get me wrong, it’s definitely entertaining. I just can’t believe that so many love this one but can’t stand the others…
Yeah, well, I don’t think anyone will argue that The Evil Dead is undoubtedly one of the finest horror movies ever made. And that Army of Darkness is one of the best 80’s action comedy movies ever made. But two completely different genre.
It’s just odd that Sam Raimi decided to put three movies in the same series that fall completely at the opposite ends of seriousness/sillyness scale.
