They made a big deal about him joining the cast…then he was only on one episode!
Where is he now?
Anyone have any thoughts on this, I thought he was a good character and would have loved to have seen him again.

I’ve been wondering that forever. At the end of his episode it seems like he just filtered into the fleet as a civilian, but given their situation at the time, why would Adama let a commissioned officer, and especially a pilot, leave service?
I do agree with Pike, that it was probably an acting expense, which is bad on the casting director to cast him for the role if the writers needed an actor for a reoccurring role.
The first radar target seen in Cylon space from Valkyrie, that flames his ship and then disappears, remains very mysterious - given the subsequent appearance of two other targets in Cylon space that clearly are Cylon ships, because they capture Bulldog.
Oddly enough, isn’t Bulldog referred to as Danny?
Bulldog is on some ship talking to some psychiatrist about his mental issues.
Assuming that ship wasnt blown up or badly damaged at some point, hes probably still with the shrink.
Yes - yet another Daniel. I zipped over to Battlestar Wiki and it advises that Daniel was the last of several names considered for the character. So now we have 3 Daniels.
Interesting. We know that skinjobs existed when he was captured. However, we do not know whether all 8 had been created by that time. If memory serves, the events of Hero occur about 5 years before the attack?
If Danny was the model for Daniel, that would rule out Daniel somehow being the soon to be seen piano player, who pretty clearly is going to be white (even if not played by Bear McC).
This question is probably on my top 5 list of questions to ask RDM when the show’s done…
I’m thinking contract issues as well since they were hyping him so much the 'sode he was introduced in and then crickets. Be nice if he were in Daybreak 
As someone said a long time ago about Bulldog, he’s probably on the same ship as Boxie and all those cigarettes Doc Cottle keeps smoking.
Personally, I found it hard to even believe that he was young enough to be a hot shot pilot. Didn’t the actor look significantly older than any other pilot we’ve ever seen on the show? Not by just a few years, but by more than a decade.
wasnt bulldog supposed to have joind the “fleet” just after the “1st” cylon war… then just b4 the 2nd cylon war, he was sent over the armistice line???
