X-23 aka Laura aka Talon (VERY RARELY) is a clone of Wolverine.
The Weapon-X Project wanted to clone Wolverine, but their sample’s Y chromosone was too damaged to allow it, instead they copied the X chromosone resulting in a Female clone.
X-23 was raised in a lab and trained to be an assassin, the use of trigger scents on her targets would make her kill them in a bezerker rage.
She eventually escaped, killing everyone who made her along the way, and headed to New York where she became a prostitute who specialised in cutting people up.
Then she joined the X-Acadamy, and eventually became a part of X-Force with her “Big Brother” Wolverine.
Her powers are a variant of Wolverines, she has 2 claws in her hand’s for offence, and a defesive claw in each foot. Her claws are coated in Adamantium but her skeleton is not. She has a healing factor and enhanced senses.
Besides her “Brother” Wolverine, she has a nephew who is about 10 years older than her, Daken.
She actually first appeared in the X-Men evolution cartoon series.
She also writes novels, The Iron Hunt was great! And the second book in the series just came out recently… Darkness Calls. It is waiting for me on my desk, I will get to it just as soon as I finish A Game of Thrones.
