Anyone in the Houston Area want to get together and see Inception on Saturday July 17

Inception is probably one of top three biggest events in sci-fi this year. I think it would be cool if anyone near by would like to get together and watch the movie on Saturday July 17th.

I know Houston is pretty huge place so we won’t set a location until we know how many people are interested and what would be a convenient location for everybody.

We can grab something to eat afterwards and reflect on it’s awesomeness (I seriously doubt there will be any suckage coming from this movie). Once we know how many are interested, we’ll set a time and place.

Hubby and I are really wanting to see this movie. I’ll keep that date open, and get a sitter now. Night out without the kids, woohoo!

I know my husband and I have been looking forward to seeing this, and I’ve been dying to meet more people in the area (I’ve only been here for three and a half years… yeah, we don’t get out much :confused: ) Webster area here, but I don’t mind a drive!

So I’m gonna suggest the Alamo Drafthouse over by Midnight Comics at Highway 6 and Westheimer. And a trip to Midnight or Bedrock Comics before or after :smiley:

I would SOOO want to do that, but funny thing happened 2 weeks ago, my fiance gave birth to our baby girl about 6 weeks early. So needless to say, I have to rearrange my schedule. This really sucks because I wanted to do this really badly. But we will do a meetup, it’s just going to have to be a little later on. I’m very sorry.

We had a garage sale Friday and Saturday (in this heat, what was I thinking?) and were wiped out yesterday. I have not been on the forum in about a week, sorry I missed out on this.

Funny story, we didn’t get to go last night either. My car has been causing problems and we ended up at a dealership until late last night.

Upside, we have a new car now! I’ve been waffling on naming it either “Buzz Lightyear” or “Jocasta”. I’m driving it up to the IMAX near my house now :smiley:
