Anyone have Netflix instant watch, Wii, ATT U-Verse, wireless?

Anyone have

  1. ATT U-Verse
  2. a wireless internet connection via ATTU
  3. and a Wii that you use to…
  4. Watch Netflix instant watch?

If so…

A. What kind/speed of internet connection do you have?

and

B. How’s it working out for you?

Reason I ask is, I just got a Wii. Don’t have Netflix. But I’m thinking of getting it for insta-watch. And I have ATT U-Verse, with a basic connection. Internet use is often painfully slow, but maybe that’s to blame on my browser-computer (Safari 4.0.3 on 2004 iMac).

I’ve watched a couple music videos via YouTube so far, and the resolution isn’t great, and the video backs up and pauses. I’m sure the videos weren’t meant to be screened at that size, but still.

Video stores, if you don’t have one copy of every single movie ever made, you’re gonna keep pushing people to Netfilx. Maybe that’s too much to ask, but try to at least carry Thomas Crown Affair, huh?

I have instant watch and FiOS, using an XBox 360 wi-fi. Love love love it!! my only complaint is that Netflix haven’t put their entire library on instant watch. but there are more titles all the time, including Monty Python’s Flying Circus, Buffy, Angel, Xena (entire series)

Hmmm…I have ATT 300. Watch Netflix instant on my Mac and on my Bluray. Solid. Sometimes it says it needs to go lower res, but I can’t tell a difference. If you are having challenges see if it is working well on your computer. Perhaps a Wii issue more than a Netflix one?

I have the exact same setup and we use the heck out of it! We don’t have cable to it is our primary way of watching movies or old TV shows. We do have a Wii, but I have not tried it on there yet.

Thanx all

Instant Watch is probably one of the biggest reasons to get Netflix as long as you have a good connection. The slower the connect, the grainier the picture. But besides that, you will have tons of fun with it.
