I know when Galactica jumped into the atmo in Exodus part 2, and when Pegasus rammed itself into the basestar (IYKWIM) I jmped off my couch and screamed “Frak Yeah”
Anyone else do this for the most recent episode? I seriously don’t know what I can do, I get all excited giddy while watching. BSG is probably the most intense thing I’ve ever seen. I don’t know how to truely describe it, its just an awesome experience.
yes when Kara showed up and started shooting people as they were about to arrest/kill Lee. Literally jumped up and started screaming “YESSSSS!!! WOO HOOOOOO!!!”
me too, both for all the kara(ole arse kickn kara) scenes…
\but the big one was when adama and tigh took out those 2 marines… i did a lil dance:)

I thought it was cool when SB jumped in and shot the guy about to execute Lee. But then when she shot Skulls for mouthing off, I knew this was going to be something that the fleet was never going to be able to recover from. Many of our favorite peripheral characters can never be trusted (i.e., Racetrack) and nor will they be able to forgive our favorite heroes.
Action with consequences akes for some kick[sorrybarb] TV…
I totally had an Exodus ship falling through the atmosphere/Adama telling Cain “I’m getting my men” moment when Starbuck rescued Lee. It was too awesome.
I got that way at the end, with Tigh and Tyrol backing Adama… at this point, I’m liking those two cylons better than I like some of the fleet (Racetrack, Seelix)
Truth is I don’t think there can be a moment like that in this arc. Its too personal, the “villians” are characters we have come to know and love. Maybe some of you don’t feel that way though.
That being said, there were some awesome moments in this episode, like the end where Tigh and Adama are going to hold off the marines.
know exactly what you mean… my moment was more, satisfying? (like a Yes!) than jump out of your seat like Exodus, I guess. I was a little too distracted by the betrayals of minor characters I liked.
i got one of those moments when roslin’s voice cut through the mess and preached rejection of “those traitors”. Roslin was back. She dealt the revolution a blow. (and i noticed that she started off by saying “women and men of the fleet”, as opposed to admiral a’s “men and women of the fleet” from the season 4.5 premiere.
that was a good moment. and starbuck too. and also when i saw that raptor heading off towards the cylon basestar, i remembered that galactica was not the only super power in the fleet. my guess is that a counter revolution is going to begin and its going to begin on that basestar. wouldnt it be wild if we had cylon centurions storming the galactica, and we were rooting for them. then again, this is a wild season.

Definitely for me it’s Starbie going bad ass to save Lee. For me, I always see shows where they “threaten” to use their gun, but it’s just there as tension, very rarely do I see a character just blow a guy away, let alone their own kind
Of course, the kind of bad ass anger that Admiral Adama has is just legendary. I just felt his anger and I just love how he doesn’t even beg for mercy but says that no one is going to be shown mercy. Love it
A real ‘Butch and Sundance’ moment, eh?
At least I’m hoping it doesn’t quite end up as they did…
