Anne McCaffrey rest in peace.

Anne McCaffrey has passed away.

"McCaffrey was born in Cambridge, Mass., and moved to Ireland in 1970. In the late 1960s she became the first woman to win a Hugo Award for a work of fiction and the first woman to win a Nebula Award. She was inducted into the Science Fiction Hall of Fame in 2006. "

An entire shelf of the Oddball family library has her works.

Oh no. We also love her work.

RIP Anne…your stories will be loved for ages.

I heard, very sad. I’ve read all the Pern book, except the last couple Todd McCaffrey ones. I think I’m due for a re-read.

Very sad. I have a lot of fond memories reading her stories.

The Harper Hall Trilogy was one of my favorite sets of books growing up. I totally got Menolly.
