I know it was epic, but I really am not fond of this particular arc. good moments, yes: the memory spell, stoner chick Fred, big scary lava demon, the return of Angelus, Faith, Jasmine. but it was a high price to pay 
Cordy the character got shafted in this storyline

It’s way too disjointed, as well. Unlike other seasons, there was no natural progression of events. But, yeah, Cordelia got a very raw deal.
Similar to Tara in a few episodes, IMO. :mad:

Tara’s death wounded me–like Joyce’s and Wash’s and Book’s. What happened to Cordy didn’t seem to serve a purpose in the same way. Felt to me like a convenient–but not terribly well thot out–way to be rid of her

I realize it was perverse and a sign of his fallen state, but I liked Wes/Lilah
Ditto.
I like to think that if the series had gotten a sixth season, we would have seen more of Lilah. Great character.

Kind of a filler episode, once it’s all said and done. Not much to say about that. :o
