Angel 2x08 The Shroud of Rahmon

Wednesday, 10 March 2010
11 PM Eastern - 8 PM Pacific

“The shroud was woven by the head priest, said to have
been driven mad by the demon himself. Once Rahmon was
defeated, the priest dyed the shroud with the blood of seven
virgin women, sacrificed on the first full moon, then laid it
upon Rahmon’s body, in order to prevent his resurrection.”

I started 4 minutes late.

I’ve always enjoyed this episode. There’s nothing special about it, per se, but it’s a great early example of a classic ensemble episode.

I started bit late too. Time check?

I’m at 4 minutes in.

I agree. I also like Cordilia’s hair. I don’t love it, but it does work.

I’ve always imagined that knitting is actually one of Gunn’s hobbies in his off-time.

I love Kate, I wish they had don’t more with her.

Blame Law & Order paying her a lot more than Whedon could. :frowning:

Yeah, not a fan. Longer hair works better for her.

He’s quite the extrovert.

What?

I’m sure you can pull it off.

Damn money. Not that they used her well on that show…

I choose to believe that Angel knows about J-Don running with the Rat Pack because he did too.

Of course, that doesn’t explain why J-Don didn’t recognize him.

“I hate waiting. Got anybody to eat around here?”

People, you got to leave your tombs earthed.

“People, you’ve gotta leave your tombs earthed.”

“I’m not big on shrouds. They’re an after-you-die outfit.”

I think the spiny deamon is the actor that played the Earth Force commander that flew the second Excaliber class ship into the planet destroyer.

“I think it’s the altitude.”
“Right. The altitude, here at sea level.”

When did Wesley become a Ninja?

It’s Tony Todd, of Final Destination and Candyman fame.
