First time poster, feel weird posting about a tv show.

So I was rewatching last nights Episode and noticed a couple of things.

When Lee visits Kara in the flashback, its the same apartment she was improsoned in during season 3. If you pause when the camera pans back to her as the door is opened, notice on the back wall is that famous drawing of hers of the Nebula. Interesting…

Did anybody else get the impression the series of events leading up to Sam being hooked into Galactica as a hybrid tie into his flashback scene when they power him on. How he breaks away mid-sentence with the reporter and goes on about being part of perfection “Action, Reaction” as Cavil likes to say.

I think when they try to make the jump to “the only parking spot available” sanders is going to be involved.

Yeah I got that same impression. The line about being part of perfection was kinda echoed in his hybrid ramblings.

Anders is kinda creepy as a hybrid. When he said “A perfect face, a perfect place for the end of Kara Thrace” I was like, wtf?!

Welcome, Idjjit! The apartment is her apartment from Dephi, I believe. The one she and Helo go to on Caprica.

The one on New Caprica was built to be just like the apartment she had on Caprica - they’re architecturally identical. (and IRL, I believe they were the same set)

yes, i believe all apartments are the same set, including boomer’s on caprica. (altho roslin’s and some of the one’s we saw last night looked different.)

Hi Idjjit, welcome to the boards! Do not feel weird posting about a TV show. I’m almost to 1,000 posts, and that’s low for some of these denizens.

Good catch on the apartment. It sure looked better in this episode than when Starbuck visited it a couple years ago. Guess a nuclear blast will do that to a place.

And yeah, Anders sounded very Borg-like in this episode, with his craving for perfection and all. Sounds similar to Tory earlier, and of course to Baltar’s ravings about all of us being perfect. I wonder where it’s leading?

I liked the part where he appreciates the physics of the game play. Now as a hybrid running a battlestar he’s in a perfect position to feel the physics of the universe. It’s interesting that in his Erf life he was apparently a musician (and the writer of All Along the Watchtower?), and his Caprica life he was an athlete. The mental and physical awareness necessary for both skills seem to make him the perfect person to be plugged into a battlestar and in touch with the universe…

i couldnt have said it better myself… so thanks :slight_smile: but in addition, that part made me think he was remembering(or feeling) something about his past… he was talkin about the perfect everything, action reaction, physics; it sounded like he was “tapping” into something half remembered…?? maybe something before cavil wiped his memories… i dont know if i conveyed that thought very well…

but what he can and hopefully will do with that battlestar should be AWESOME :slight_smile:

Let’s just hope Sam is referring to where she will end up. Maybe it’s part of the miracle he prophesied.

I thought the interchange between Anders’ interview on Caprica and his ramblings showed that Anders is still in there somehow.

This may be obvious, but it was such a nice touch in the writing to set his sports interview in a sports bath (or whatever that’s called) to draw the parallel to his hybrid-ness…

…or maybe they’re showing us how his mind must stage the recollection and sync it with the “conversation” with Kara…hmmm

I hope Sam is still in there too; he’s one of the genuinely all-around good guys (his main flaw, I’d say, being that he puts up with Kara’s treatment, but, he does it out of love so that’s something). Do we know how much of this plotline was fueled by the injury MT sustained in the car accident?

I hope he gets to come back to himself and live. I have no spoilers, I’m just wishing for some good endings for at least some of the characters.
