Poofy’s recipe for apple cake is awesome, even though we substituted pears for the apples today. Real yummy.

I substituted green olives.
I had to improvise also… I substituted 3-piece fried chicken for cake. And mashed potato for apple.
That actually sounds pretty good. Now I’m hungry. 
This can be entered into the cookbook as “Pike’s Substitute Apple Cake.”
