I have heard some suggested endings than the one we were presented with. A couple of them really captured my imagination.
David Eick had said they had tossed around the idea of landing on earth with t. rex’s running around. That would have been kinda fun.
I also heard someone (perhaps here?) suggest that they be the Atlantean’s of legend. This one I REALLY like, it could have been fun. It also really could have left room for occassional 1 off’s of the show. Basically their life on Atlantis & how they adapt to this planet.
