Hmmmm. The plot on this one was pretty predictable. I love the tech, the futuristic views and Karl Urban but if the stories don’t get better this show will find a difficult time getting and keeping viewers. Continuum is the far better futuristic cop show on TV these days.
As soon as Captain Alexa Barros showed up at John’s precinct I knew he was The Bishop. Sending in Rudy was also a bit predictable. The android’s head taunting Rudy when he decides to join was pretty funny as is Rudy’s fascination with being a spy. And Rudy definitely has an unholy relationship with the bots.
The bot on bot fighting at the end was pretty entertaining. I’d guess we’ll be seeing more of that as the series progresses.
Was it an entertaining show? Yes. But it was a pretty simple episode.
