“In space, no one can hear you scream.”
I have set my alarm so I will not forget!
Hope to join in tonight. Great groundbreaking movie.
Saw it cold the first time. No info at all, except the tagline “In space no one can hear you scream.” All I knew was that it was SciFi, and that was enough for me.
I was a nervous wreck the whole time !!
Damn good movie.
Hope to join in.
Hey Alien frakkers – are we doing the Director’s Cut or Theatrical Release?
In space no one can hear you say “Frak”
Director’s. Just saying. Wouldn’t want to miss even more icky goodness.
LOL, nice avatar Talos!
Quoted from Filmsite:
Freudian and sexually-charged symbolism and images abound - the beastly adult creature has both a phallic head and an open, dripping vaginal mouth.
One of the things I remember RDM mentioning in a podcast about this film, that the characters were written interchangeable for men or women. A man gives birth and the ship is called Mother.
This is a film that stays with you, very visceral.
Thanx had this one before but Solai is sportin’ the hugger.
My Gods those Filmsite folks need girlfriends.
I love this. Had to share.
Isn’t it glorious? /Gowron
looking for something to snack Hmmm, eggs? Nah!
evening all! did you hear me scream?
Even the DVD menu is creeping me out. I’m all goosebumpy.
Was that you? I thot the chimps got loose again.
I was not allowed to see this when it was in the theaters. no R movies for little D (or even teen D)
actually, it was a chain of events: I sneezed, my new tribble squealed, and I screamed (a little)
Watching Ridley Scott talking about the film. Prepare to FF! Fast forward!
Ha! At least you were alive when it was in the theaters! =P
