A question about Marvel's Fear Itself

So, I pretty much missed out on comics the first time around and am making up for that now.

I’m getting up to speed on the Marvel Universe by reading the major events arcs, and have got up to Fear Itself.

My problem is when I go to Amazon to order Fear Itself there seem to be two different versions:

I can see that the 2nd version collects Book of the Skull, Fear Itself: 1-7, but no idea what the first one is about, but it’s 50 pages shorter and £4 cheaper so I’m guessing it’s not just the same comics with a different cover.

So, do I need both, or just one of them?

The first one collects: COLLECTING: SECRET AVENGERS 12.1, 13-15; FEAR ITSELF: BLACK WIDOW

The second one collects: Fear Itself: Book of the Skull, Fear Itself: 1-7

So no you don’t really need the first if you don’t wanna read every tie in

Not pushing this, but I picked up the Marvel Unlimited app for the ipad.

$70 a year, 13,000 comics available. The go pretty far back, and publish up to six months past.

I got on a month ago, been catching up on new and old series, I mention this because the fear itself line is on there, they even post a event series, where they put them in order and tie ins. I think it needs a little work because it can be a bit confusing. Still great though.
Some times they have a ( I assume a scanning / upload problem) where the page is missing, or the speech is replaced with &&&&&. Still good though.

I only mention this cause the price of your trades, not to sure if this works in England, but even with a mark up it is a big savings.
