Coming up in the middle of April I’m going to have free time unlike that I’ve ever had before for nearly 6 weeks (possibly more). In this time I’m going to try and get caught up on all things TV and film that I’ve missed out on over the past few years and I’m trying to build a list but as I add things, old things drop off as I forget about them. I’m looking for suggestions on what to check out for about the last 3 years in sci-fi and genre TV and movies and maybe if anyone’s interested we can enjoy, or reenjoy as the case may be, it together. Here’s what I’ve got so far (thanks to the Legends and Quantum Tavern podcasts for some recommendations)

I forgot to add “Arrow”. I forgot about “Game of Thrones”, but it was originally on the list, as well as “The Dark Knight Returns”. Thanks for the “Sanctuary” mention, it reminds me, I also gotta add “Eureka”. Good call on “Person of Interest”. I’m all caught up on “Sherlock” and “Who” but new episodes of both might be out during that time too, so I won’t rule a rewatch out. I can’t believe I forgot about “Halo: Forward Unto Dawn.” Excellent stuff! I’m gonna have to do some research on “Summer Wars” and “Avalon,” and I’d love to watch Kickass again. Keep it coming!

In addition to agreeing with a lot of the previous, I would recommend “Elementary” on CBS. If you are looking for old stuff, I would say “The 4400” (that got cancelled despite or because of my tears)

If you like Urban Fantasy check out Lost Girl, I am sure it is not for everyone but I love it; especially the character Kenzi! :cool: (Seasons one and two are on instawatch at Netflix)

Just started watching season one of Justified based upon Sean’s reccomendation, I like it. Can’t remember if it was on your list or not.

Supernatural, and the Supernatural anime.

My wife and I watched the first 5 seasons of Supernatural so I’m a little behind and I didn’t know about the anime so, added. Justified was also recommended to me, I believe by the same person and it is definitely on the list. I’ll look into Lost Girl and get back to you.
