A History of Star Wars Video Releases

In anticipation for the release of Star Wars on Blu-ray, UGO released a History of Star Wars Video Releases. How many do you own?

Super 8 (1977)
Laserdisc CLV (1982)
VHS (1984,85,86)
Beta (1984,85,86)
Laserdisc CAV (1984,85,86)
Laserdisc Widescreen (1989/1990)
VHS Widescreen (1992)
Laserdisc Widescreen Definitive Collection (1993)
VHS & Laserdisc Widescreen THX-mastered (1995)
VHS Pan&Scan Special Edition (1997)
Laserdisc Widescreen Special Edition (1997)
VHS Episode I (2000)
VHS Special Edition Widescreen (2000)
DVD Episode I (2001)
DVD Episode II (2002)
DVD Original Trilogy (2004)
VHS Original Trilogy digitally mastered in THX (2004)
DVD Episode III (2005)
DVD Original Trilogy Limited Edition w/ original theatrical releases (2006)

It appears they only listed the domestic releases, since there is no mention of the VCD releases. I own that one also.

Hmm, lemme see.
All since 2000, besides VHS Original Trilogy digitally mastered in THX (2004) and DVD Original Trilogy Limited Edition w/ original theatrical releases (2006).

Plus an international release with the Episode 1 VHS including Bulgarian subtitles.

Where are the Ewok and Holiday Special releases on the list??

In the p0rn orgy section.

Ah, good to know. Besides the Ewoks and Droids cartoon series.

What about the TCW microseries and the animated TCW series? Anybody else here still watching it?

I’m watching it with my daughters. The animation ain’t no Bugs Bunny and Tom and Jerry. It’s amazing what they can do now-a-days. The stories are meh, but they keep my daughters interested.

Something just keeps making me get them. Had to have Widescreen, then had to have DVD, then had to have the DVD with the original theatrical release. Blu-ray just looks so much better, I am gonna have to get it too. Then one day Im sure I will get it in 3D. Imagine the death star trench run in 3D!

I think this is the only one of my geek collections that I have somehow been able to curb my purchases. Just have one store bought copy of each movie, which is weird considering how big a fan I am, and how much the changes in the original Trilogy DVD bothered me.

VHS (1984,85,86)—> Actually the 1988 box set with From Star Wars to Jedi…but since it wasn’t listed I picked this one.
VHS Pan&Scan Special Edition (1997)
VHS Episode I (2000)
VHS Special Edition Widescreen (2000)
DVD Episode I (2001)
DVD Episode II (2002)
DVD Original Trilogy (2004)
DVD Episode III (2005)

Plus I have a Chinese bootleg of Episode III - subtitles are from The Pianist.
