I picked up A Game of Thrones at the store this weekend, btws. I’ll do my best to finish by April. I’m preparing to let you all tell me, “I told you so.”

According to Martin’s blog, HBO has announced a 15 minute preview of the show Sunday April 3 at 9pm!
I can not tell you guys how excited I am for this. I just hope I don’t psyche myself up too much!
Also! The next book has a hard publish date of July 12! Martin says this is true for the UK as wel, despite what Amazon UK says!

having just finished the first novel, I am now in agreement. It was quite excellent reading! However, now I have to be bummed out again that I don’t have HBO. Is there a DVD release date yet??
