Really? Pulp Fiction is still one of my favorite movies. Gun violence never seems like “real” violence in movies, IMO.
I’ll always have a soft spot for Pulp Fiction because one of my classmates in high school delivered Christopher Walken’s watch monologue as if it was about the watch he’d brought for a still life, and the teacher just listened, fascinated, and didn’t know he was lying.

LOL. Yes. Yes, it does. 
I have a different POV there. A similar scene with a woman involved would have been handled far differently. It was a refreshing change of pace, IMO.
