James Cameron or Kathryn Bigelow. I like Bigelow a lot. She directed Patrick Swayze’s best movie POINT BREAK, but I think James Cameron is going to take it. He has created technology that is going to improve the way movies are made the way Lucas did with Star Wars.
Is there any way possible for Avatar to not win best effects?
I think UP is going to win best animated feature, but I like CORALINE a lot. If you havent seen it, CHECK IT OUT!
I wish Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus could win something like costume or art, but I think it is going to get shut out. I loved the movie. I love Terry Gilliam. He directed a few of my favorites: 12 Monkeys and Time Bandits. And I love everything he did with Monty Python.
Lets hope Steve Martin and Alec Baldwin do a good job. I think Hugh Jackman was great last year, better than I expected, but I miss Billy Crystal hosting.
