80's to 90's franchises

hey all,

I’m not quite sure how to properly enunciate this, but here goes :

the 80’s, i reckon, were the golden age of toys! We had Charlie Brown, GI Joe, Mask, Starcom, Thundercats, He-man… and it’s girly spinoff, She-ra, the list goes on…

Anyways, the toy industry back then were built up on the popularity of the cartoons (which are grainy by today’s standards).

Then in the 90’s, we had a grammy-award winning (no kidding, the soundtrack won an award) Batman animated series (which, in my books, were the best!)

…and all the rest of the comic-book heroes followed suit…

And Stevn Speilberg showcased his comedic genius with Animaniacs…and it’s even more popular spinoff, Pinky and the Brain.

And then in the late 90’s Gennedy Tartakovsky broke into the scene with Dexter’s Lab, the Powerpuff girls (and it had small cartoon skits like the Superfriends…which was a pun on the popular Friends series back then)

I’m just saying, the 80’s & 90’s were a treasure trove of toys and cartoon franchises that we oughta discuss…
