There’s a part of me that hopes this was like a what-is-Kate’s-stupid-horse-vision in Lost, and they inserted it but it didn’t go anywhere.The rest of me thinks it would be great to pull that thread through and finally make something with it.
I liked this episode a lot- I think it is my favorite so far this season. I really liked the story with the Professor and Emma, and how the stranded time traveler was their descendant. I’m still kind of meh about Clara thus far. I liked her better in her 2 previous incarnations. So I’m not sure if that is just me taking time to warm up to her, or if it is a deliberate thing by the actress because this version of Clara is different. I’m not over the moon about her like I was with Rose back in the day. That being said, I have really enjoyed this season. I also think Matt Smith is the best he has ever been in this role. I took a long time to really accept him as the Doctor, as I really loved 9 and 10.
