Top Gear discussed people’s over reliance on GPS while driving. Jeremy, Richard ,and James all agreed that you should never use it as an excuse for driving into water. I know I have had personal experiences where I had to out think my GPS because it was not telling me correct info.

When I’ve the need to use a GPS, I usually try to look at the route on Google maps beforehand, so I have an idea of where I’m going. Saves time when the GPS tells you to get off the highway and right back on at the next exit… (looking at you, Vancouver)
