I’m very pleased to announce that the Book Club selection for March and April is The Hero and the Crown by Robin McKinley!

He will apologize, or I’ll give him a lesson in swordplay he will not like at all.

I got this as part of the book exchange at the meetup and read it on Monday. I thought it was only OK, but I might have been influenced by the fact that I was reading it during a 5 hour delay and the following plane ride home. I’ll need to read it again when I’m in a better mood.

It is a good read, but YA books are hard sometimes to get into if you didn’t read them at the right time. Definitely give it another try. The Blue Sword (in the same universe as Hero and the Crown), in my opinion, is a bit better than this one.
