Another childhood memory I missed out on due to my severe whispers rodent repulsion.
Sorry I haven’t posted in ages - real life intervened. Was heaps behind on my podcast listening which also makes it hard to post. Then I decided to go everywhere with my headphones in and listened to five casts in two days.
Just wanted to add my two cents.
I was obsessed with the Narnia books as a child. I read them countless times via the library, starting when I was about 6 (I learned to read when I was 2.5). I wanted the whole set, and started collecting them when I was about 10. Every birthday or Christmas I would get another one. Only when I got all seven, I was sad because I didn’t have the box you get when you buy them as a set.
So my Dad went down to the bookshop and sweet talked them into giving me not only the box, but also this poster, which I still have:
It’s great that you covered these in an arc, and I hope you do more if/when more Narnia movies come out.
