I thought it was great! I love David Morrissey (has anyone else seen Blackpool?), and thought he was wonderful. The story was good and not what I expected. I teared up a couple of times. And I felt really good at the end.

I think if HD-DVD had won I might be a bit less pro-piracy, but considering all the efforts that content rights holders seem to be putting into artificially segregating markets as evidenced and actualized with Blu-Ray and DRM even on webstreams (I’m looking at YOU, Sci-Fi), it’s nice to know that the piracy on the high seas of the internet can still equalize the global community’s access to information and entertainment.
I found out from a friend that you can find the entire Christmas special, in case you have not seen it yet (as I have not), on veoh.com. Search for 2006 Christmas Special–it’s hidden under that. But it has 4x14 in the title. It is indeed the current Christmas special, though. I haven’t watched it yet, but I watched the first 5 minutes and I was so super-psyched. I’ll be watching this today. Wish I had a laptop to hook-up to my big TV, but I think this will be good enough. I’m giddy with excitement to see the Doctor again. Giddy!

Yeah, I think their rights or contract or something ended after the official last season ended. So right now we’re in limbo as far as any new content goes which completely sucks. Which, as far as I’m concerned is FORCING our hand to do what many of us are doing, in search for the videos via other means.
