From the makers of The Tudors, Life on Mars & Torchwood comes a 10 episode Camelot on Starz! Sounds like a fantastic pedigree to me. Ain’t It Cool’s got the scoop here.

Hmm Camelot… I wonder which versions they’ll be sourcing? That article’s a hot mess on that front, lol. (“wholly original approach” basing itself on Malory and will “weave authenticity into a modern telling of the Arthur legends that is relatable to contemporary audiences” - what does that even mean?)
Good point, but I’m hopeful for a dense, character based drama with mysterious, mythic and mystical overtones (all the reasons I love BSG and LOST btw). The core of Camelot is the quest for the unattainable, the futile but noble fight for perfection, all the while recognizing humanities weaknesses (and strengths). I can imagine a series that explores this similarly to BSG (or shows like The West Wing, NYPD Blue or Friday Night Lights for that matter) to potentially be amazing.
So, …fingers crossed.
