w00t! New GWC Is Awesome GWC. It’s too damned bad it has to start at the end of a seriously favorite show, but we at GWC have been here before, and will doubtless be here again. It’s always very interesting to hear the GWC Crue zero-in on a topic and explore it fully.
Looking forward to the new avenues the expanded GWC will bring! I’ll be listening. 
Oh, and Juan’s voice? Totally Harvey Fierstein in ID4 (you totally called it Audra!) Get well soon Juan!

Awesomeness. My favorite Carter body humour moment is when he an Allison get off an elevator at GD and he gets taken out by a security system which has not been updated to contain his DNA. He just folds up at the knees and the ankles and falls straight onto his back.
I didn’t like Eureka when I first started watching it. I watched one or two episodes and gave up. Then I got invested in Warehouse 13 and when they had the cross over episode with Fargo I was like “he’s cool. Maybe I should give this show another go”. And so I did. I mainlined 3 and a half seasons and managed to catch up before the new episodes and now I’m totally hooked. I was sad to hear it might end now.
In our first Save Eureka podcast we take a little time to discuss the show’s recent cancellation, why the show matters to us, and what drew us to it in the first place. We also talk a little about last week’s episode Omega Girls.

Yeah, that was my bad. I thought I locked down the forum, it turns out Topgun as a blogger is in his own super awesome group. That has been fixed.
Love that Carter moment. He gets nailed down by increased gravity a couple of times in the show, all to great effect. I was more smitten at the beginning than you (or at least it sounds like it) but I too have grown more and more attached as I watched more. I also mainlined the first three seasons.
I just updated the Podcast Spreadsheet to include Save Eureka! One question: This cast will be hosted by Chuck, Audra and Juan each week.
2nd question - will this be in iTunes?
It’s already been submitted, but it can take a while to get accepted. You can, however, add it to iTunes manually using the same procedure outlined on the site for subscribing to all podcasts. Just insert the RSS feed link for the individual podcast instead of the all podcasts link.

I still had the last two episodes on my DVR that aired August 8th, 2011 and August 15, 2011 so I went back and took a look at the sponsors. I figured I’d get this info out in case anyone wanted to try to petition the sponsors for anything. Of course the biggest support you can lend to the show is to watch it live instead of delayed on the DVR or thru other means. I’ve left out what I think are local ads.

If nothing else the cast has reminded me that the show is well worth a rewatch. Eureka was/is the first show I made the decision not to buy the DVD/Blu-ray and wait for a series boxset after being screwed over so many times by being a loyal fan and then seeing an uber boxset which eclipsed my ongoing season collection. This means of course I’ve only watched the show on it’s first broadcast so I really need a refresher:)
