I took a leap of faith, and bought the Zune. The sound quality sounds slightly better than my IPod, and the Zune Pass is well worth it. I pay fifteen dollars a month, and get unlimited downloads. At the end of the month, if I have kept my subscription renewed, the songs will stay play, and I get ten song credits, so that I actually get to permanently keep ten songs. Given how much I was spending on iTunes and CDs, this has proved to be a big money saver. I am happy with my purchase, but I cannot speak for how sturdy it is yet, but after reading the reviews online, I am glad I did not listen to the apple naysayers.
