It’s such a marvelous surreal moment.
Whenever I hear this song (which is increasingly rarely :(), I always belt out the monster’s bits. Never fails to get some strange looks. Occasionally someone gets it, but mostly it’s just for my own enjoyment. 
I was at a family get together and my grandmother was pestering me to sing some song I learned at school. I broke into the creature’s “Puttin on the Ritz”
