I just watched Cyclops in ‘Superman Returns’ last night.
IIRC, it was always assumed that the blades were installed when the metal adamantium was bonded to his skeleton. Then Magneto used his power to pull the metal out of body, and it was shown that the claws were already a part of his skeleton.
Was he superman?
