Things that annoy you

People that don’t understand what ‘tone’ they are writing in when sending emails.

I have read so many emails thinking people were mad about something only to find out they thought their sarcasm would come through or they thought the ‘hiko’ format would make is seem fun.

People that don’t have The Internets. ::stuck_out_tongue:

Baby Boomers that say they are too old to learn computers.

All network news reporters!

“blame It (on the a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-alcohol)” by Jamie Foxx

want to call up radio stations and make a request…TO STOP PLAYING THAT SONG

All these Agents from the future coming back to thwart my plans for global domination. Mwwwwaaaaahhhhhhhaaaahhhaaaaaaa!

People who still listen to radio, how 90’s. :stuck_out_tongue:

Zing - well played

That’s not the only one. I feel that way about most popular music these days (an attitude that doesn’t ingratiate me with many of my friends, sadly)

Ack…someone with heavy perfume used my phone at work. Halfway through giving a presentation I was choking.

There is a little know IPhone app that pulls air in through the earpiece speaker and releases it through the speaker at the botton. It is called iFilter and the tagline is, “When you really want the fresh smell of warm apple pie”.

Speaking of…heavy perfume anywhere anytime is always bad, on the train/bus/plane, in the elevator, in church/theate. hack…cough

I couldn’t agree more.

Note to self: Solai is easily defeated by perfumes.

People who see a movie and like it, then ten years later when “everyone” has deemed the movie silly and trivial, claim to have hated it all along. People - it’s okay to like something and then change your mind as you grow older. It’s called maturing!!!

Excellent. Excellent. Good work, DBT. I too am keeping a list of Solai’s weaknesses. Right now he’s too powerful to defeat, but someday…

Then there’s the flipside of that, where you claim to have hated it just to fit in with the people who say they hate it now.

The GF and I watched “Spock’s Brain” the other day, and while we acknowledge its flaws* we both saw it before we had the critical skills to dissect it, and subsequently loved it. And we still do, flaws be damned. We’re not going to pretend that we don’t now that we can see those flaws like bright, shinning PUT THE TEACHER ON SCOTTY ALREADY moments.

*Still makes more sense than the plot of the last movie. I’m just saying…

people who say the didn’t like…(insert Star Trek XI, or BSG, or Caprica) and then as you explain what you liked about it, they couldn’t agree more.

It’s OK if you really didn’t like it. It is also OK if you really liked it!!! you are allowed to have your own opinons as long as they ARE YOUR OPINIONS!

People who claim that it’s okay to have your own opinion when, in reality, the truth is that it’s not. It’s okay to have MY opinion. Period.

This is just my opinion, Armando, so please don’t take this the wrong way:
That was your 3,000th Post!!!

Wooooot!!!

I hope that wasn’t aimed at me… you are entiled to your opinion as wrong as you may be.

3,000 wholly Frak! I feel like i comment on everything but i am still under 300… you obviously have your own opinions…And thats a good thing…

so say we all.

3,000 -nicely done!
