When I first saw this, I was amazed because this was a passing of the torch. The story was opening up to whole larger universe.
Unfortunately I was an adolescent and felt I had to walk away from this kid’s stuff.

Actually, I remember reading that emergency separation was supposed to occur in one of the episodes of TOS (“The Apple”, maybe?), but they didn’t have the budget to do it.
Seems like we’ve seen that scene a bunch of times, huh?

I was a huge Voltron fan. Then again, I was also a big Gummi Bears fan. 
I love the alligatorcons. I don’t think they ever really got a name. They should have made them. I always liked them better than the sharkticons.
I made a Quintesson out of one of the plastic pantyhose eggs I “liberated” from my mom.
I never had that “putting away childish things” phase.
