The Transformers: The Movie 6/12 @ 10 PM ET

When I first saw this, I was amazed because this was a passing of the torch. The story was opening up to whole larger universe.

Unfortunately I was an adolescent and felt I had to walk away from this kid’s stuff.

Saucer section FTW!

Actually, I remember reading that emergency separation was supposed to occur in one of the episodes of TOS (“The Apple”, maybe?), but they didn’t have the budget to do it.

Seems like we’ve seen that scene a bunch of times, huh?

That’s essentially what the Sharkticons do.

If you think about it, that’s what Unicron’s doing too.

I was a huge Voltron fan. Then again, I was also a big Gummi Bears fan.

I love the alligatorcons. I don’t think they ever really got a name. They should have made them. I always liked them better than the sharkticons.

I made a Quintesson out of one of the plastic pantyhose eggs I “liberated” from my mom.

I never had that “putting away childish things” phase. :stuck_out_tongue:

True. And you gotta love the “sand” on the bottom of the ocean, too.

 I remember the Gummi Bears!

Seems Voltron is the winner. Well then everyone will be happy to hear…

Blur is voiced by John Moschitta, the “Micromachine Guy” that Chuck’s been trying to best with his intros.

Is that supposed to be live-action?

Wow. That is awesome. You wouldn’t happen to have any pictures?

I knew I knew that voice!

Heh! I can never remember the name Blur, so I just call him “the Micromachine Transformer”.

I don’t know. We’ll have to ask the Operator.

I hope it’s the lions. Really the only acceptable Voltron, IMO.

Weird Al!! Woohoo!!

Don’t be that impressed. There was a lot more imagination involved than any real toy-making. I found pictures of the five faces and glued them around the egg.

And Eric Idle!

The circle dance is hysterical!

With the advancement of CGI, I think live-action would be amazing.
