The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King 4/18 @ 8 PM ET

And now we gots pretty creditsis music

I didn’t know that they made a Cyberboard version. I sold my Designers edition version many years ago.

I like the closing song. Annie Lennox ftw!

There’s a free program called Cyberboard. And we’d send each other our moves in a file.

Yup. Annie Lennow knocks this out of the park.

That is six frakkin awesome movies.

I love her voice!

That was great. The music, acting, etc. one of the few adeptations that really worked.

It’s so funny, my friend who has an incredible mind for games (likes to win and he’s got a brain that’s hard to beat). We’ve played this game a number of times, and when he plays the fellowship player he, instead of a fellowship of just nine, he adds like all the characters he can to the fellowship.
So Denethor, Eomer, Faramir, Theoden, Imrahil, Theodred, Galadriel, Celeborn, …they all join the fellowship and fight it out at Mount Doom.

Agreed. They did it well. I was worried when it was announced that they were doing it, but after seeing Fellowship on opening day, I knew my fears were unfounded.

and Ending number 5…or is it 6…just when you think the credits are about to be over…why is the music over the Fan Club people so ominous?

Interesting.

On the down side, it’s only a two player game. And three. You can play it that Saruman and his troops are a separate player.

Ooh, I wanna be Saruman.

Somebody’s gotta do it right.

Whilst searching for something else, I found this a moment ago.
Where the hell is Talos?

spittake

Yeah, in the game Saruman can seize the ring himself and when he does, one Nazgul per turn join his side. And then he can kick some serious SorryBarb.

There is another Lord or the Rings game from Fantasy Flight where 5 people can play, you each play a hobbit and are working together to get the ring to Mount Doom. We usually lose, it’s a very tough game.

LOL! That is really funny.

Well, folks, I should hit the hay. My sister is coming over in the morning bright and early. I had a great time, even if I was late!
